Edible Bones

So I saw this on Pinterest and wanted to check it out. They look more like dumbbells but oh well we're gonna go with it. Super easy, a little messy. All you do is get pretzel sticks, put marshmallows (probably the mini ones cut in half we didn't do that and I think they look too big.)  on each end of the pretzel stick, then dip them in melted white candy melts. My kids love doing projects with me but here's their review: "I thought this would be funner."

Keep the Ghosts and Goblins safe this year

There are a lot of great tips and tricks out there to keep our little ghosts and goblins safe.  Click here for more tips from Safe Kids.

Keep 'Em Glowing
Every year I make sure my kids have glow sticks with them.  You can order them from Amazon (There's a link on the right) and they even offer 2-day shipping so it's not too late.  They also have a 40 pack at Wal-Mart for $3.97.  I really go over the top so they are seen.  My cousin once decorated her entire stroller you definitely could not miss them.

Stick Together
Young children should always be accompanied by an adult or an older responsible person.  Trick or treating can be safer if you are trick or treating in a groups.  Know the homes you are going to before hand.  You can click here for list of registered offenders in your area.

Talk to your children ahead of time
Make sure all children know to NEVER enter an apartment or house.  They should also be cautioned not to run out from between parked cars.
